Built the Base
With a domain name, the next step is actually building the website that is to be hosted on it. Given my lack of a programming background, I chose to use a service such as Squarespace, who offers a graphic editor. After paying what seemed like a hefty subscription, I was guided through the process of connecting the domain name hosted on Cloudflare to the website contents on Squarespace. The latter provided several DNS records that I needed to manually add to the Cloudflare portal, and it seamlessly connected!

The actual building of the website was very simple, but the hard parts came when trying to fill in the content and making it look nice. For now, I left most of the elements blank and password protected the site. I will work on this more when I actually have content to put on it.
Besides this, I desperately needed to get an email setup. Since this email will be sent out in many places, it needed to be separate from my personal email. Having the domain name already, I need to choose a service provider. It may seem that Cloudflare can handle mail, but they can only forward them, if you want a proper email, you need another subscription service. I chose to use Apple iCloud’s custom domain features, which connected well with Cloudflare.
Armed with a company name and email, as well as having Built the Base of the website, I am in a pretty good spot to more forward.
